Assassin’s Creed: Ezio’s Journey Inspired photographic works

Tempo di Lettura: 4 minuti

Student photographer Nicolas Bruno brings the Assassin’s Creed series to life in the countryside and rooftops of Italy.

Greetings, Assassini…
An adventure awaits.

Assassin’s Creed: Ezio’s Journey

This project will be inspired by the historical fiction series titled Assassin’s Creed by Ubisoft, which takes place in the midst of the Italian renaissance.

I will use my photographic skills to shoot enticing photographs of the main character Ezio Auditore, a skilled assassin, exploring the rolling hills and rooftops of Italy.

My study abroad program begins in Perugia for the 2013 semester from September to December, and I will be completing the project during my stay. Perugia is a beautiful hilltop walled medieval city in the heart of Italy. It is a hub for young artists and offers the perfect blend of city life and landscapes.

My goal is to create realistic reproductions of Ezio’s daring and adventurous journeys through Europe and bring his story to life. After this project is completed, I would like to pitch the series of photos to Ubisoft, in hopes that they will release to the Assassin’s Creed fan base, which consists of over 55 million people all over the world.

To kick off the basis of my Assassin’s Creed photography project, I have done an example piece upon the top of Whiteface mountain in New York.

What are the funds supporting?

The funding from this project will aid in a large variety of things during my project. Some of them include:

  • Aquiring photo passes for privatized areas
  • Creation of extra props and set design
  • Model and assistant rates

Kickstarter funding for this project is all or nothing, so if the funding goal is not reached, the project will not be completed.

What’s in it for me?

I will be printing finalized images from the projects on high quality photo paper, along with a hand written wax sealed note of thanks to each backer. Check the project often for updates on these rewards, there might be some surprises added..

Share with your friends, family, and fellow Assassini and help bring this project to life

I will be studying for the majority of my stay, and I will be in a country where I speak very little of the native language. I will try to create as many stunning pieces as I can within the three months of being there, but with my press for time, I will probably not have the option to create as many pieces as I would like to make. I will continue to post updates on my project regarding my progress.
